Courchevel is a chalet market with a strict logistical schedule: between December and April, the resort is bustling, after which construction and deliveries take place. Those wishing to furnish during winter will have missed the delivery window.

The Delivery Window is in Summer

From May to November, roads are clear, craftsmen are available, and chalets are vacant. During this period, virtually all work is completed. Mountain Roads and the Final Bend

The approach to Courchevel 1850 is winding and steeply ascending; within the resort, many access roads are narrow and sometimes private. Large articulated lorries cannot reach all locations, necessitating transshipment. For chalets on slopes, the path from the road to the door is often a staircase or a funicular. This final stage determines the maximum piece size, not the apartment door.

Interior: Wood, Fur, Contrast

As in Gstaad, the space is already defined by wood. Impact is created through contrast: leather, dark metal, stone, and heavy textiles. Seating arrangements are oriented towards the fireplace, and candle holders set the mood on the table. Dry Air and Snowlight

At 1,850 meters, the same conditions apply as in Engadin: very low relative humidity in the heated chalet and high UV exposure due to snow reflection. Humidification protects furniture, and curtains protect fabrics. Both are not a luxury in the Alpine region but a prerequisite for an interior to maintain its appearance for years.
