Inspiration

The Waverly Console Table was inspired by Design for Four Table Ends, a 19th-century British artwork from The Met collection. Sketched in pen and ink and painted in watercolors, the drawings depict four elegantly carved table designs featuring ornamental motifs. A celebration of symmetry, craftsmanship, and decorative carving, the designs were likely inspired by the elaborate flourishes of Renaissance Revival furniture.
